Child Safety Standards

Story Saver - Status Download (package com.mybelieve.storysaver) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) material. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves and our users to, as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

1. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited in connection with Story Saver - Status Download:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
• Any content that sexualises a minor, including drawings, animation, or computer-generated imagery.
• Grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any other sexual exploitation of a minor.
• Using the app to save, store, or redistribute any of the above.

2. How Story Saver - Status Download works

Story Saver saves media that is already visible to the user on their own device from apps they have signed into. The app does not host, upload, index, recommend, or serve a content feed, and it has no user-to-user messaging, profiles, or sharing surface within the app. This limits the ways the app can be used to distribute abusive material, but it does not reduce our obligation to act on reports.

3. Reporting CSAE material

Every user can report content directly from the app: open the More tab and tap Report Content. Reports may also be sent to the address below. We aim to acknowledge every report within 48 hours.

4. How we respond

• Reports are reviewed by a named member of the Story Saver team.
• Confirmed CSAE material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, where applicable, to the relevant local authority.
• We preserve related records as required by law and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
• Users found to have used the app in violation of these standards lose access to it.

5. Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws in the markets where the app is distributed, and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Developer Programme Policies. These standards are reviewed at least annually.
